Day 2,evening

Cycle from Brooks to Medicine Hat very bleak, desolate, under populated, under developed.NOTHING but cattle grazing.I guess they have nothing better to do.Big trucks welcomed as they gave Ralf a push as they motored past.A few cars honked as they passed Ralf.Ralf thinks they honked because of his good looking legs.He expressed feeling "cheapened by the experience....he's not just a piece of meat" :0 Another thought he shared was that some would consider him "eye candy"-good for the eyes.
Eventually found bike store after much cycling up and down steep hills.Bought replacement bike pump, tires pumped up...good to go (tomorrow).Laundry done in room, ipod and blackberry charging.A big thank you to Megan for downloading an eclectic mix of music on his ipod shuffle.
No continental breakfast tomorrow morning as not available til 6:30 and wants to start cycling at 5:30.It's going to be a scorcher tomorrow with temp in the 30's.It is 140 miles to Swift Current and wants to be half way by noon.Ralf is planning on 2 hour break around noon to avoid the heat. After 61/2 hours cycling he'll be due for a rest.
