Morning phone call:
Ralf reports slept well on a kingsize bed,500 thread count Eyptian cotton sheets.Any metrosexual would know his thread count. Breakfast overlooking Detroit Lake.Had an egg stratta with roasted veggies and spicy cheese;big bowl of fresh fruit;whole grain bread,juice and coffee.
Today will be a hard day cycling on rolling hills with 20 miles/hr.headwinds . Averaging 11/12 miles/hr.Plans on stopping every hour to take a break.
Email from Tara at the Foundation for Sight with an account of donations received so far.Between donations made online;cheques addressed to Foundation for Sight ( at home in folder until Ralf sends in at end of trek);cash/cheques for Ralf collected and deposited into Ralf's Ride acct at the CIBC,and pledges made,Ralf has collected a total of $8,088.00.That will pay for a pair of devices.Ralf would like to ideally cover another pair.So his goal is to reach $14,00.00.If anyone cna help Ralf with more sponsors to raise his goal of $14,000.00 that would be greatly appreciated.
